BRAWOLINER® is the first 3D liner to receive the DIBt approval for curing with LED and UV light

The system provider BRAWO® Systems has successfully completed the test program specified by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) and, with the BRAWOLINER®, has become the first 3D liner to receive the approval for rehabilitation with UV and LED light in the nominal sizes DN 100 - 225. 

The German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) issues around 3,000 national building authority certificates for building products and types of construction each year. As part of the DIBt approval for the rehabilitation of defective earth-laid sewage pipes with LED and UV light curing (Z-42.3-566), an extensive testing program was successfully completed. Within the framework of this program, the impermeability, the resistance to high-pressure flushing, the chemical resistance, the abrasion resistance as well as the environmental compatibility were tested and successfully verified. The challenging DIBt certification certifies the suitability for use in renovation projects and ensures consistently high quality through regular inspections.

The BRAWOLINER® is a seamless textile tube with a seamless foil coating. Thanks to a special loop construction, all BRAWOLINER® tubes are extremely flexible, making them the ideal rehabilitation solution for defective pipes with dimensional changes and bends up to 90°. Due to its special design, the BRAWOLINER® adapts optimally to the pipe run and is virtually crease-free.

BRAWOLINER® offers its customers and users the maximum range of possibilities with its four different curing methods - water, steam, curing by ambient temperature and light - so that every application scenario can be perfectly accommodated.

With the new registration, all systems offered by BRAWOLINER® - including light curing - have been tested and approved by DIBt and their high quality and safe use have been verified:

  • DIBt approval Z-42.3-362: "BRAWOLINER®" pipe liner method for the rehabilitation of earth-laid damaged sewer pipes in nominal sizes DN 100 to DN 250"
  • DIBt approval Z-45.3-499: "Pipe liner with the label "BRAWOLINER®" for the rehabilitation of damaged wastewater, rainwater and collecting pipes within buildings in the nominal width range DN 50 to DN 200"
  • NEW: DIBt approval Z-42.3-566: Pipe liner method with the designation "BRAWOLINER®" for the rehabilitation of damaged underground sewer pipes in the nominal width range from DN 100 to DN 225 with LED or UV light curing
