China Society for Trenchless Technology (CSTT) visits the market leader BRAWO® SYSTEMS in Kaiserslautern to find out more about trenchless rehabilitation methods
Kaiserslautern, 29th October 2019. The amount of waste water in China continues to rise, the sewage system, however, is often outdated and in need of rehabilitation. With increasing environmental awareness in China, the trenchless rehabilitation process is becoming more and more significant. As a system supplier for quality and service, BRAWO® SYSTEMS is the perfect partner for everything to do with building and property drainage. BRAWO® SYSTEMS was delighted to welcome representatives of the China Society for Trenchless Technology (CSTT) at the company´s site in Kaiserslautern, to inform them comprehensively about the product and service portfolio and to exchange information with the Chinese experts.
China Society for Trenchless Technology (CSTT) was founded in 1998, as well as one of the 29 affiliated societies of International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT). Currently, the organization is supervised by Geological Society of China. CSTT is the only nationwide non-profit organization related to trenchless technology in China and supported by the establishment of provincial Societies for Trenchless Technology in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong province. CSTT has always focused on promoting science and practice of trenchless technology in China, industry specifications and standards formulation and revision, enhancing international cooperation to promote industry continuous development. By the end of 2016, CSTT owns 115 exclusive members, including 5 individual members, which are constituted from contactors, constructors, equipment manufacturers, consulting companies, research institutions.
Due to the constantly increasing urbanization in the People's Republic, the sewage systems of the cities are also exposed to ever higher loads. Meanwhile almost 55% of the Chinese population live in cramped conditions in so-called large and megacities. The amount of waste water is constantly increasing. This continuing trend means that one of China's biggest challenges will be the establishment or expansion of a functional water supply and sewage system or its rehabilitation.
The purpose of the visit of the CSTT to BRAWO® SYSTEMS is the development of environmental standards as well as the increasing environmental awareness in China and the resulting impulse to introduce ecological technologies to the People's Republic.
Gunter Kaltenhäuser, Business Unit Manager BRAWO® SYSTEMS is very pleased about the visit and the exchange with the Chinese colleagues: "Asia is an important market which is becoming more and more important.
